AGAiN join fnatic in WCG final

AGAiN are through to the Grand Final of the WCG after beating CMAX.gg 2-1.

After defeating Parallax and k23 earlier in the day, this was the first real bracket test for the Russians, and they did not disappoint as they forced AGAiN to work hard to get the win.

On de_train, CMAX.gg got to start as CT but they made little advantage of that as they went into halftime with a narrow 8-7 lead. But AGAiN would not do the same, and their strong defensive play paid off as they conceded just one round in the second half, winning the first map 16-9.

CMAX.gg were eager to have their say in the match, and went into the second map determined to pull one back. And they did, despite losing the first half 8-7, downing the former Vitriolic 9-2 as Terrorist to make it 16-9.

The third and last map was de_nuke, where AGAiN played very well in the earlier stages, cruising to a 7-1 lead, before allowing CMAX.gg to catch up and take seven rounds before half time. In the second half, AGAiN found it very hard to nail the victory and they would have to wait for the last rounds to seal a 16-13 win that gives them passage to the final, where they will meet fnatic.
